The first year walk took place on the 21st of September. The first year walk takes place ever year, it is in total 10km long. I was asked to come along and help out with 7 other TYs. We left the Mercy hall at 9:30am with over a 100 first years, 2 SNAS and 6 teachers. We got to the forest at 11. Mr.Keogh came with tea, biscuits and sandwhichs for the tears SNAS and TYs. At this stage we were all soaking because it had not stopped rainning since we had left the hall. We started waking agin at 11:30. We arrived back at 12:40. we had to give out sweets to the first years for doing the walk. I really enjoyed the walk and it also counted as part of my community care.
